Heads up, coffee junkies! A new set of beverages just made
FamilyMart your new favorite destination for a satisfying yet affordable
caffeine fix. Blended exclusively by renowned Japanese coffee company UCC for
FamilyMart, this new line of drinks called ‘Coffee Creations’ is yours to enjoy
starting September 16.
Upping the ante in the quality of coffee concoctions you can
find at the convenience store, Family Mart has come up with its Coffee
Creations line using UCC coffee. "The name itself is coffee creations
since we don’t want to be limited sa basic, and there’s a big opportunity in
launching or creating new a variants for a coffee offering," said Angelo
J. Balajadia, Brand Manager of Family Mart, in an interview with COOK
Magazine." Some want milk, sweet, black, so those are the total variants
on offer. This is just a start. In the coming months will be releasing a lot of
others flavors."
The use of UCC gives the coffee a reputation not offered at any
other fast food or convenience store because UCC has a reputation for quality.
"Of course, with UCC we are, leveraging our heritage. Family Mart is from
Japan, and UCC is the leading coffee company in Japan, “explained
Balajadia." In terms of credibility and taste wise, no doubt they can
deliver. "
While the price is higher than basic coffee brands, Family Mart
among other convenience stores is considered a bit more upmarket and it's par
for the course."It's reasonably priced. It's a UCC brand," said
Balajadia. This is a brand that might
entice some who are particular about their coffee and normally buy from premium
chains to try something less expensive, and others who normally just buy
3-in-one, to want to try better quality coffee.
Coffee Creations’ hot brewed coffee comes in two serving sizes
– 12oz (P55) and 16oz (P65). Every order comes with sachets of sugar and
creamer so you can enjoy your cup that perfectly suits your liking. Meanwhile,
the Iced variation is available in a 16 oz serving size, which is served black
(P60), sweetened (P60) or with milk (P65). Whichever way you like it, no matter
what time of the day, each cup offers the most bring for your buck.
Family Mart is also promises to watch out for new offerings
with food. It is going to lean in on strengthening the Japanese roots of the
brand, and the public will be made aware of it soon enough.
Coffee Creations is available in over 70 Family Mart Stores in
Luzon.
